IATA:香港重建航空樞紐地位需時 料明年亞太區航空公司再蝕66億美元
國際航空運輸協會(IATA)總幹事Willie Walsh表示,香港需要相當長的時間來恢復航空樞紐地位,因香港的地位已受防疫措施所衝擊,強調香港不能單靠放寬防疫措施來重奪地位,還需要確保防疫政策不會重臨。
IATA將今年全球航空公司虧損預測由97億美元縮減至69億美元,而明年則可轉虧為盈,錄得47億美元的盈利,但亞太區航空公司料再錄得66億美元的虧損,疫情爆發4年以來亞太區航空公司虧損累計達到764億美元。
IATA預計,明年亞太區航空需求回復至疫情前70.8%,而運力則為疫情前的75.5%,強調中國重新開放經濟是亞太區航空公司復甦的關鍵,目前保守估計中國會在明年下半年有序地放寬出入境安排。
