國泰(00293.HK)10月載客量按年升4.2倍 料下半年達經營正現金流

國泰航空(00293.HK)公布10月份經營數據，載客量達40.09萬人次，按年升424.5%，較疫情前2019年同期跌85.4%。收入乘客千米數按年上升416.6%，但與2019年同期相比則減少80.1%。乘客運載率增加44個百分點至73.6%，以可用座位千米數計算的運力按年增加108%。
今年首十個月，載客人次較去年同期增加166%，運力上升20.4%，而收入乘客千米數則上升167.8%。
國泰今年10月共運載10.94萬公噸貨物，較去年同月減少20.1%，與2019年10月相比減少40.2%。月內貨物收入噸千米數按年減少25%，與2019年同期比較跌36.2%。運載率下跌13.9個百分點至69%。以可用貨物噸千米數計算的運力則按年減少9.9%。
今年首十個月，載貨量較去年同期下跌11.1%，運力減少21.9%，而貨物收入噸千米數則下跌30.9%。
顧客及商務總裁林紹波表示，9月底撤銷抵港人士的強制檢疫要求後，市民外遊意欲顯著上升，10月份上半旬客運需求主要來自飛往曼谷、新加坡和首爾等地的航班；隨著日本於10月11日放寬入境旅遊限制，前往當地的旅遊需求激增。
國泰10月起增加往返亞洲各地航班，整體而言10月份的客運航班運力較9月份增加32%，約為疫情前水平21%。平均每天載客人次由9月份的8,800上升至接近13,000人次，月內運載率升至約74%。
林紹波表示，在環球經濟不穩及內地的防疫措施持續影響貿易及生產活動下，加上2021年的基數較高，令貨物運載量在10月份錄得按年跌幅，但與9月份相比仍有5%增長。
國泰早前目標自8月份起實現經營正現金流，目前公司預期2022年下半年將能整體達至經營正現金流。(gc/u)
