據報高盛香港疑裁減逾10名員工 包括一名投行部董事總經理
上月傳高盛重啟全球裁員計劃,涉達500名員工。據《星島日報》報道,高盛上月底已開始向大中華區的員工「派大信封」,在香港團隊方面,被裁減員工涉及逾10人,其中一名離職高層為駐港投資銀行部董事總經理的資深銀行家儲朝陽(Bill Chu)。
在內地團隊方面,高盛駐上海及北京的員工亦包括在內,同樣地涉及一名董事總經理,及其他級別的員工,但未知裁員人數。高盛早前警告,由於經濟前景惡化,將會減慢招聘步伐,並會削減開支。
報道又引述,有中資投行人士指,本港新股市場很差,上市宗數大減、縮減集資額、未獲足額認購等,在人手過剩的情況下,投行才會選擇裁員,而且本港遲遲不全面解封防疫措施,又未能跟內地通關,更認為投行裁員潮會延至明年。(ca/s)
