新世界(00017.HK):若立法建議通過後 將積極考慮加入人民幣股票交易
財庫局局長許正宇今日(3日)就鼓勵在香港發行及交易雙幣股票及優化有關交易機制提出建議,新世界(00017.HK)表示支持,認為將提高人民幣計價股票的流通量和價格效益,有利於推動人民幣證券發行和交易,提升投資者參與人民幣股票交易櫃檯的意欲。
新世界集團表示,將積極探索在港新增人民幣股票交易櫃檯,以交易新世界股票的可能性,並考慮在立法建議獲得通過,及相關交易結算規則和機制準備就緒後,落實設立有關人民幣股票交易。
新世界行政總裁鄭志剛表示,支持政府推動香港離岸人民幣業務的發展,相信有關安排可便利內地投資者未來以人民幣參與港股通,有利深化離岸人民幣市場的流動性和深度,亦是進一步推動人民幣證券發行和交易,助力推展人民幣國際化的重要一環。
