傳李家超首份施政報告不會「撤辣」 惟有機會放寬外來人才置業辣稅
據《星島日報》專欄文章指出,行政長官李家超私下已向政黨人士表明,不會在《施政報告》中「撤辣」。不過,多個政黨推動政府,放寬外來人才置業「辣稅」反而有機會成事。有政界中人建議,放寬辣稅除了惠及輸入的專才和優才外,還可包括來港讀書而留下來的「港漂」,增加他們留港的誘因。在現時樓巿下調的情況下,此一放寬既有利人才留港,又增加樓巿需求。
文章指,據悉地產界正透過不同渠道,游說政府「撤辣」。不過,李家超對於現階段「撤辣」卻甚有保留。因為《施政報告》其中一個主題是增加房屋供應,解決港人住屋問題,若同時「撤辣」,會予人「托巿」感覺,令人覺得施政自相矛盾,削弱巿民信心。
