Bank of America (BAC.US) submitted its position report for the second quarter ended June 30, 2022, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
According to statistics, the total market value of Bank of America's positions was $878.929 billion in the second quarter and $1.029 trillion in the previous quarter, down about 14.6% from the previous quarter. Bank of America added 465 shares to its portfolio in the second quarter, increased its holdings by 3057 shares, reduced its holdings by 3872 shares and cleared 644 shares. Among them, the top ten positions account for 16.24% of the total market capitalization.
From the perspective of position preference, financial, IT and health care stocks ranked in the top three, accounting for 47.25%, 13.77% and 8.96% of the total positions, respectively.
MSFT.US ranks first among the top five heavy positions, with about 81.7724 million shares and a market capitalization of about $21.002 billion, accounting for 2.39 per cent of the portfolio, up 4 per cent from the previous quarter.
AAPL.US ranked second with about 149 million shares and a market capitalization of about $20.39 billion, accounting for 2.32 per cent of the portfolio, up 3 per cent from the previous quarter.
ETF (IVV.US), the iShare s & p 500 index, ranked third with about 43.6347 million shares and a market capitalization of about $16.544 billion, accounting for 1.88 per cent of the portfolio, down 3 per cent from the previous quarter.
Vanguard value stock ETF (VTV.US) ranked fourth with about 117 million shares and a market capitalization of about $15.413 billion, accounting for 1.75 per cent of the portfolio, down 1 per cent from the previous quarter.
The s & p ETF (SPY.US) ranked fifth with about 40.5281 million shares and a market capitalization of about $15.289 billion, accounting for 1.74 per cent of the portfolio, up 11 per cent from the previous quarter.
In addition, Bank of America significantly reduced its holdings of Vanguard S & P 500ETF (VOO.US), Nasdaq 100s ETF put options (QQQ.US,PUT) and S & P 500 ETF put options (SPY.US,PUT) in the second quarter, with positions down 35%, 26% and 29%, respectively, compared with the previous quarter.
According to the change of position ratio, the top five buying targets are: ETF call option (SPY.US,CALL), Squibb (BMY.US), Procter & Gamble (PG.US), ETF call option (QQQ.US,CALL) and Johnson (JNJ.US).
The top five sellers are: Vanguard S & P 500ETF, Nasdaq ETF put option, S & P 500 ETF put option, iShares Asustek Core MSCI EAFE ETF (IEFA.US), Nasdaq 100 Index ETF (QQQ.US).
