國泰航空(00293.HK)7月載客22萬人次按年升逾三倍 運力增74.6%

國泰航空(00293.HK)公布，7月載客21.97萬人次，按年增加306.2%，但相比疫情前2019年7月的水平下跌93.3%。收入乘客千米數按年上升348.4%，但與2019年7月相比則減少89.4%。乘客運載率增加44.7個百分點至73.3%，以可用座位千米數計算的運力按年增加74.6%，與2019年7月相比下跌87.6%。今年首七個月，載客人次按年增加162.8%，但運力下跌6.3%，而收入乘客千米數則上升189.8%。
另外，國泰航空於7月運載10.07萬公噸貨物，按年減少17.2%，與2019年7月相比減少40.7%。月內的貨物收入噸千米數按年下跌27.5%，與2019年7月相比減少42.6%。運載率下跌10.8個百分點至71%。以可用貨物噸千米數計算的運力則按年減少16.4%，與2019年7月相比減少48.9%。今年首七個月，載貨量較去年同期下跌6.6%，運力減少28.3%，而貨物收入噸千米數則下跌34.2%。
顧客及商務總裁林紹波表示，因應港府進一步調整旅遊限制及隔離檢疫規定，集團於7月繼續增加航班運力。月內的客運航班運力較6月份增加24%，但仍僅為疫情前水平約12.4%，平均每天載客逾7,000人次。7月的運載率更上升至73.3%，為疫情爆發以來的新高。
展望客運業務，他指抵港旅客檢疫的新安排不單有助訪港人士，亦能刺激香港居民出行旅遊。留學生於8月及9月陸續返回英、美校園，有利客運業務。然而，現行機組人員的新冠防疫限制仍然窒礙了集團提升航班運力的能力。貨運方面，集團對冬季的貨運旺季依然審慎樂觀，但業務可受全球經濟環境影響，預計未能與去年旺季的出色相比。
