工總歡迎政府調整入境檢疫規定
政府宣布將入境人士的強制檢疫規定由7天檢疫酒店隔離,縮短至3天檢疫酒店隔離及4天家居醫學監測,自8月12日起生效。香港工業總會表示歡迎政府作出此調整,可令港商在管理海外業務及派遣人員上更有彈性,並能吸引海外商務人士及專業人才來港拓展業務或就業,提振本地經濟。
工總主席查毅超指,調整入境檢疫要求對維持香港對海外企業和人才的吸引力十分重要,預期香港可繼續作為人才高地及創科總部,吸納創科精英及工業企業來港,參與大灣區發展,發揮「背靠祖國、聯通世界」的優勢。他又感謝政府聆聽業界訴求,並期望政府能持續審視措施成效及經濟活動的實際需要,以精準抗疫為原則,盡快進一步放寬入境檢疫限制。
