國泰(00293.HK)調回停泊沙漠飛機回港 為歷來最大型行動
國泰航空(00293.HK)兩年前將約70%機隊停泊在澳洲愛麗絲泉沙漠(Alice Springs desert),以降低維修和停泊成本。集團日前在其YouTube頻道表示,隨香港暫緩航班熔斷機制,計劃逐步提高運力,並安排停泊海外機隊重新調返香港。
集團指,在海外的大型機隊已有一段長時間未有飛行,工作人員正加緊維修飛機,亦會進行大量測試和檢驗,確保每架飛機可在安全情況下營運。國泰形容,整個任務涉及國泰總飛機量的70%,是歷來最大型的行動。
