港交所(00388.HK)姚嘉仁:擬設海外辦公室 另研延長衍生產品交易時間
港交所(00388.HK)聯席營運總監及市場聯席主管姚嘉仁接受《香港電台》專訪時表示,隨著互聯互通機制開通,已上市公司及投資者規模均上升多個台階,反映海外投資者對香港市場的信心。而因應投資者多樣性和投資規模增加,港交所計劃在歐洲和紐約設立兩個國際辦公室。
他補充,如果投資者興趣濃厚,短時間內要增加業務覆蓋面,集團未必只考慮紐約或歐洲設立辦事處,亦可考慮其他地方,但暫未有任何計劃。
此外,對於港交所在5月9日實施衍生產品假期交易,姚嘉仁指剛過去兩個假期交易日,市場非常平穩,對整體市場參與度及穩健性非常滿意,並將繼續觀察情況。港交所現時大部分衍生產品的交易時間至凌晨3時,將研究延長交易時間。惟現時未有考慮或安排將恆指期貨及期權納入假期交易。
