力鴻檢驗(01586.HK)已為REF Holdings完成碳中和服務
格隆匯6月28日丨力鴻檢驗(01586.HK)公吿，公司已為REF Holdings Limited("客户"，連同其附屬公司統稱為"客户集團")完成碳中和服務。REF Holdings Limited為一間於開曼羣島註冊成立的有限公司，並在香港聯合交易所有限公司主板上巿。公司完成委託後，客户集團已在企業層面上補償於截至2021年12月31日止財政年度所排放的243噸二氧化碳當量的剩餘温室氣體排放量。
公司已根據PAS2060:2014"碳中和論證規範"的規定執行服務。此項成就是公司的客户應對氣候變化挑戰及保護環境的重要里程碑。減少碳足跡亦是客户的環境、社會及管治("ESG")策略重點。公司將繼續與客户在其可持續增長及低碳轉型的過程中緊密合作，特別是在三個主要範疇，包括提高能源效益、可再生能源轉型及剩餘温室氣體排放補償。
在公司的服務計劃內，公司的首要任務為協助客户減少温室氣體排放，其次是能源效益管理，最終輔以碳信用*以實現碳中和目標。剩餘排放量補償計劃為全球碳減排計劃提供所需的財務支援，亦可為當地社區創造額外利益，包括創造就業機會、控制污染等。全球碳信用項目發展在提高公眾應對氣候變化意識的同時，亦將鼓勵更多優質項目邁向淨零排放目標。
公司為首間在香港上巿的國際檢驗檢測機構。公司全力履行企業社會責任及環境保護責任，並已將其融入企業文化及日常業務實踐。憑藉本集團強大的科研創新實力，結合公司在亞太地區主要貿易港口及樞紐城市提供服務所建立的完善國際服務網絡，公司可在大宗商品、清潔能源、環境保護及氣候變化等四個主要領域提供一系列檢驗、檢測及技術與諮詢服務，賦能全球行業龍頭實現綠色低碳轉型。
集團通過(1)ESG+；(2)ESG-Focused；及(3)ESG-Friendly三個主要執行維度，來實現公司的ESG發展策略，踐行企業社會責任：(1)ESG+：公司在清潔能源、環境保護及氣候變化服務方面進展超預期，不斷加強與現有客户合作，賦能行業龍頭企業實現綠色低碳轉型。(2)ESG-Focused：公司繼續加快進行符合集團ESG策略的投資計劃，重點關注於具可持續增長潛力的潛在併購目標及投資機會。(3)ESG-Friendly：公司與客户通力合作，透過公司所提供服務減少温室氣體排放並提高能源效益。
公司目前正在推動第三方碳元素檢測，以降低中國發電行業的温室氣體排放強度。
