巴菲特最後一屆慈善午餐即將開拍 2008年來中標價均超100萬美元

世界上最昂貴的午餐——巴菲特慈善午餐會，時隔兩年後再次進行拍賣，這也是“股神”沃倫·巴菲特最後一次拍賣與其共進午餐的機會。拍賣所得款將用來為慈善機構格萊德基金會籌集資金，幫助當地的窮人和無家可歸者。
根據格萊德的聲明，為期一週的巴菲特午餐拍賣將於6月12日至6月17日進行，起拍價為25000美元。今年的活動是“最後一屆”，但目前不清楚確切的原因。巴菲特沒有第一時間對他決定在今年之後結束拍賣巴菲特午餐進行解釋。
在新冠肺炎疫情暴發前，為幫助格萊德基金會籌集資金，伯克希爾哈撒韋公司的CEO巴菲特，已持續20年每年舉行一次巴菲特午餐拍賣會。但由於疫情原因，慈善午餐活動在2020年和2021年暫停。
巴菲特午餐始於2000年，當時巴菲特的第一任妻子蘇西在格萊德基金會做志願者後，便把該機構介紹給了巴菲特。巴菲特開始與這個基金會合作，拍賣與自己共進午餐的機會，並將拍賣款捐出。
自2008年以來，巴菲特午餐每一次中標價格都超過100萬美元。多年來，巴菲特為通過這場慈善午餐為該慈善機構籌集了近3450萬美元。
過去，許多巴菲特午餐的買家都是投資者，他們崇拜巴菲特，因為他在尋找被低估的公司和股票買進方面有着非凡的成就。而在2019年的拍賣中，與以往的賣家不同，支付近457萬美元獲得與巴菲特共進午餐機會的，是加密貨幣領域的一位知名人物，波場創始人孫宇晨。
巴菲特曾表示，他贊助格萊德基金會是因為該機構幫助處於困境中的人們重獲生活的希望。格萊德基金會為窮人和無家可歸者提供膳食、醫療保健、職業培訓、康復和住房援助。
格萊德基金會總裁兼首席執行官Karen Hanrahan表示：
“巴菲特過去22年的友誼和慷慨對慈善機構來説是無價的。”
另外，中標者最多可攜7人，與巴菲特一起在紐約市的Smith & Wollensky牛排館用餐。午餐會上唯一不能聊的話題是，巴菲特接下來可能會買什麼。
目前，伯克希爾哈撒韋投資了90多家企業，包括Geico保險、BNSF鐵路、幾家主要公共事業公司，以及各種製造和零售業務。伯克希爾哈撒韋公司還重倉了蘋果、可口可樂、美國運通和美國銀行等公司。
