美國最大公共養老基金：支持罷免巴菲特的伯克希爾哈撒韋董事長職位
美國最大公共養老基金加州公務員退休基金（CalPERS）在週二提交的一份監管文件中披露，將在4月30日的伯克希爾哈撒韋股東大會上投票支持一項股東提案，罷免巴菲特的伯克希爾哈撒韋董事長職位，但仍將讓他繼續擔任CEO。
該基金在文件中披露，其投資組合規模超過4500億美元，其中包括逾23億美元的伯克希爾哈撒偉股票。
罷免巴菲特董事長職位的提議是由非營利機構美國國家法律和政策中心（National Legal and Policy Center）提出的，該機構認爲，如果一個人同時擔任CEO和董事長，那麼這兩個職位的角色就將「大大削弱」。
伯克希爾反對這一提議。該公司曾表示，在巴菲特不再執掌大權後，應由管理層以外的人擔任董事長，但只要這位億萬富翁還在，就應由他繼續擔任董事長兼CEO。
伯克希爾的計劃是，讓巴菲特的兒子霍華德-巴菲特（Howard Buffett）在他父親離開後擔任非執行董事長，而現任副董事長格雷格-阿貝爾（Greg Abel）將擔任CEO。
伯克希爾反對的股東提案通常會以巨大或壓倒性的優勢被否決。巴菲特持有伯克希爾約16%的股份，同時控制着32%的投票權。
加州公務員退休基金錶示，還將投票支持另一項股東提議，即伯克希爾應報告其減少溫室氣體和改善多樣性的計劃，以及該基金自己的提議，即伯克希爾應報告其應對氣候風險的計劃。不過，伯克希爾均反對這些提案。
本週一接受採訪時，巴菲特表示自己健康狀況好得不能再好了，不過他也承認年齡對他造成了一定的影響，說自己「會忘記別人的名字，閱讀速度也不如以前快了」。他稱自己是一臺「正在腐爛的機器」，但他說自己仍然「感覺很棒」。
本月底將有4萬多人蔘加伯克希爾的年度股東大會，因爲疫情前面兩年股東大會都是線上進行，這一次恢復線下，可能是有史以來參會人數最多的一次。
