奇妙電視下月起同時透過固網及無線電頻譜播放
通訊事務管理局辦公室今天提醒市民有關接收奇妙電視電視節目頻道的新安排。
通訊辦發言人表示,奇妙電視於今年2月24日獲得通訊事務管理局批准使用無線電頻譜作為其免費電視服務的新增傳送模式後,將由4月1日起同時透過固定網絡及無線電頻譜播放其電視節目頻道。在首階段,無線電頻譜廣播可覆蓋香港約75%的人口。奇妙電視將於2023年5月24日或之前擴展其覆蓋至99%的人口。
發言人續表示,現正透過固定網絡接收奇妙電視免費電視服務的大廈,可繼續以現時方式接收有關服務,無需作任何改變。
