《新股消息》畢馬威料港版SPAC可促進本地融資管道多元化 吸引大中華區及東南亞企業上市
行政長官林鄭月娥於亞洲金融論壇上表示有信心本港特殊目的收購公司(SPAC)上市機制會取得成功,能夠在市場發展與投資者保護間取得平衡。畢馬威中國資本市場諮詢組合夥人劉大昌預期,香港引入SPAC上市機制將促進本地融資管道多元化,為企業和投資者提供更多選項和機遇,並吸引更多來自大中華區及東南亞的公司來港上市,進一步提升香港的競爭力,繼續成為世界企業上市的首選地。
他表示,香港一直以維持市場質素及投資者保障作為國際金融中心的重要基石,過往多年於上市條例的發展及修訂上均充分考慮廣泛界別的意見,縱然市場上有意見指出香港的SPAC上市機制較其他主要市場嚴苛,但該行認為現行機制足以在市場質素、投資者保障及市場吸引力上拿到適當平衡,為港版SPAC的持續發展奠下鞏固的基石。
