史美倫:本港有望發展成亞洲綠色金融中心
港交所(00388.HK)主席史美倫表示,內地近年發展綠色金融步伐明顯加快,本港有望把握機遇發展成亞洲綠色金融中心。
她稱,港交所已將環境、社會和企業管治(ESG)資料披露,由自願改為強制,並要求企業評估相關風險及機遇。未來會繼續制定相關指引及材料,供企業參考。目前則仍有大量工作需要籌備,如制定全球共同綠色標準、制定資料披露原則等,杜絕「洗綠」或「漂綠」行為。
此外,她指香港作為全球最大離岸人民幣中心,政府在過往3年已發行273億元綠色債券,並計劃5年內再發行1,755億元綠色債券,當中包括以港幣計價及零售的綠色債券。
