中國今年第三季GDP按年增長續放緩至4.9%(次季升7.9%)，略低於市場預期增長5%。此外，帶動中國經濟增「三頭馬車」9月數據表現參差，其中零售銷售額按年升幅再度加快至4.4%，優於市場預期年升加快至3.5%；但9月工業生產按年升幅放緩至3.1%，遜於市場預期升3.8%；首9個月城鎮固定資產投資年升7.3%，遜於市場預期年升續放緩至7.8%。
亞太區股市今天個別發展。菲股高收續升2.1%三連漲；印度孟買長週末假後復市延續之前六連升勢屢破頂，最高見61,894紀錄高，現報61,871，續升0.9%；印尼升近0.7%五連漲；澳洲200升近0.3%三連漲；星馬泰股市齊升0.3%，前者四連漲；越南續升0.4%。相反，新西蘭、滬深、日經、韓股、臺股及港股逆跌不足0.5%，其中恆指高開94點報25,425欠承接，在倒跌騰訊、建行(00939.HK)、工行(01398.HK)、碧桂園服務(06098.HK)、中國平安(02318.HK)、美團(03690.HK)、招行(03968.HK)及恆安(01044.HK)跌1%-3%拖累，曾倒跌207點低見25,123，現報25,250，回吐80點或0.3%。
美股期貨全面回吐0.4%-0.6%，道指期貨報35,036，反覆回吐135點或0.4%；標普五百期貨及納指一百期貨報4,443及15,044，回吐0.4%及0.6%。
