穆迪指油氣公司需增加勘探開支54%解決能源短缺問題
評級機構穆迪表示,石油勘探商須增加勘探預算54%至5,420億美元,以解決未來數年供應顯着不足問題,尤其若油氣需求在2025年之前持續增長至高於新冠疫前水平。油公司今年料投資3,520億美元入勘探及相關活動。
油氣業去年面對新冠疫情導致需求崩潰,但未迴應新期需求反彈。穆迪報告指,全球原油及美國汽油需求分別按年升50%及120%,但全球勘探開支料僅按年升8%,不足以在明年爲現有產能更新,並將導致供應更爲緊張。供應緊張將加劇目前能源危機,有關危機已觸發歐亞經濟體加大燃料庫存應付冬天,能源價格亦近乎每日破頂。
