《施政報告》林鄭:過渡性房屋整體供應在未來幾年可增至2萬個
行政長官林鄭月娥表示,就討論多年的大坑西村重建計劃,行政會議近日已批準了由平民公司與市建局合作落實項目,先決條件是平民公司必須妥善安置原有租戶。按平民公司與市建局的構思,重建後的大坑西村項目可提供超過3,300個單位,較現時增加一倍多,當中包括1,300個供重置現有租戶的單位,以及2,000個由市建局發展的「港人首次置業」單位。
她指,本屆政府推出過渡性房屋,以紓緩未能「上樓」家庭的境況,需要民商官三方合作,負責籌備和營運的非政府機構提供適切居所的同時,亦引進鄰裏互助、支援就業的措施,是建立社會資本的一個好例子。運房局已覓得足夠土地提供原先承諾目標的15,000個單位,近日再獲得私人土地擁有人表示有意參加計劃,現建議再額外提供5,000個單位,令整體供應在未來幾年可增至20,000個,並將相關資助計劃的資助額增至116億元。
此外,在現金津貼試行計劃下,截至8月底,已向約30,000個合資格的一般公屋申請住戶派發津貼,佔已接獲的合資格申請約五成。若獲立法會通過,「(當刀)房」租務管制條例會於明年1月生效,爲「(當刀)房」租客提供合理及有效保障。
