聯合航空近600名拒接種疫苗美國僱員面臨解僱
外媒報道,美國聯合航空(UAL.US)週二(28日)表示,由於未能遵守公司接種疫苗政策,近600名美國僱員面臨解僱。
公司稱,週二起對593名決定不接種疫苗的員工展開解僱程序。行政總裁Scott Kirby及主席Brett Hart在內部通訊指,這是非常艱難的決定,但保障團隊安全是公司重中之重。
聯合航空稱,如果在正式解僱會議前接種疫苗,有關員工可保留職位。公司收到因健康或宗教理由的接種疫苗豁免申請,就美國6.7萬名僱員而言,佔比少於3%。撇除申請豁免員工,公司逾99%美國僱員已接種疫苗。
