澳洲反壟斷機構建議打擊谷歌網上廣告主導地位
澳洲競爭與消費者委員會(ACCC)發表報告,建議限制谷歌使用互聯網數據來銷售針對性廣告的做法,批評谷歌壟斷市場,導致出版商、廣告商及消費者蒙受損失。
ACCC認爲,谷歌在網上廣告領域的主導地位根深蒂固,並一直掌握其搜尋引擎、地圖及YouTube的大量互聯網用戶數據,因此必須加強谷歌使用這些資料來銷售廣告的透明度,而現有的法律亦不足以遏制任何反競爭行爲。
谷歌未有作出評論,但在ACCC發表報告前表示,其廣告技術爲澳洲提供逾1.5萬個職位,每年爲當地經濟貢獻24.5億美元。
委託撰寫上述報告的財長弗呂登貝格表示,政府將考慮該報告的調查結果及建議。
