馬斯克稱全球芯片短缺危機有望於明年結束
特斯拉(TSLA.US)首席執行官埃隆·馬斯克週五表示,當前仍在持續的全球芯片短缺危機有望於明年結束。
馬斯克認爲,芯片短缺是個短期問題,而不是長期問題。他說:“有許多芯片製造廠正在建設中。我認爲,到明年芯片產能將大幅提高。”不過,他並未具體說明他指的是哪些芯片工廠。雖然英特爾(INTC.US)和臺積電(TSM.US)已經宣佈了在美國建設新工廠的計劃,但這些工廠預計還需要幾年時間才能投產。
諮詢公司Forrester副總裁格倫·奧唐奈(Glenn O‘Donnell)則認爲,芯片短缺可能會持續到2023年。他在今年4月曾表示:“由於需求居高不下,供應仍將受到限制。我們預計這種短缺將持續到2023年。”
全球芯片短缺對多個行業都產生了重大影響,而汽車行業受到的打擊尤爲嚴重。福特(F.US)、大衆和戴姆勒等知名汽車製造商都因此被迫部分停產,並削減了製造目標。
特斯拉同樣受到影響。馬斯克在第一季度財報電話會議上曾表示,特斯拉存在一些供應鏈問題,並提到了芯片短缺的情況。他表示:“第一季度,我們遇到了特斯拉所經歷過的最艱難的供應鏈挑戰,我認爲我們將在第二季度和第三季度繼續看到這一點。顯然,人們已經聽說了芯片短缺的事情,這是一個大問題。”
諮詢公司AlixPartners本週預測,芯片短缺將使汽車行業僅今年就損失2100億美元的收入。AlixPartners汽車和工業業務全球聯合負責人馬克·韋克菲爾德(Mark Wakefield)在一份聲明中表示:“當然,每個人都希望芯片危機到目前爲止已經有所緩解,但馬來西亞疫情導致的封鎖等事件和其他地方持續的問題加劇了事態。”
