通用電氣斥14.5億美元購超聲波儀器公司BK Medical
美國通用電氣(GE.US)宣佈以14.5億美元現金收購超聲波儀器公司BK Medical,以強化其醫療影像業務,收購料於明年完成。是次收購爲現任行政總裁Larry Culp在2018年上任以來,集團最大宗收購案。
BK Medical原由健康護理投資公司Altaris Capital Partners擁有,生產超聲波系統,爲外科醫生進行手術時提供即時影像。通用電氣表示,收購使公司的超聲波業務擴大至外科及治療介入,預期收購後第五年,有關投資將錄得高單位數回報。
