歐盟擬立法強制手機及平板等統一使用爲USB Type-C插口
歐盟委員會提出新方案,以環保爲由要求手機、平板電腦及耳機提供通一的充電插口,預計每年可爲用戶節省2.5億歐元,相信此舉將對蘋果(AAPL.US)帶來衝擊。
根據方案,USB Type-C將成爲所有智能手機、平板電腦、相機、耳機、便攜式喇叭及手提遊戲機的標準插口。
不過方案遭到蘋果反對,稱統一充電插口會扼殺創新,反過來會傷害歐洲及世界各地的消費者。
今次方案仍需要得到歐盟成員國及歐洲議會批準,之後公司將有兩年的時間來調整產品設計。
