國泰(00293.HK)8月載客逾13.5萬人次較疫情前跌92.4% 年底前目標每月現金消耗少於10億
國泰航空(00293.HK)公布,今年8月,載客13.54萬人次,按年增加278.4%,但相比疫情前2019年8月的水平下跌95.3%。收入乘客千米數按年上升294.1%,但與2019年8月相比減少92.4%。乘客運載率上升26.5個百分點至46.4%,以可用座位千米數計算的運力雖增加68.9%,惟仍較2019年8月下跌86.9%。今年首八個月,載客人次較去年同期減少92.2%,運力下跌76.2%,而收入乘客千米數則下跌89.7%。
貨運方式,國泰航空於8月運載12.43萬公噸貨物及郵件,按年增加21.7%,但與2019年8月相比減少23%。月內的貨物及郵件收入噸千米數按年上升20.7%,但與2019年8月相比減少15.4%。運載率上升2.3個百分點至77.7%。以可用貨物及郵件噸千米數計算的運力則按年增加17.2%,但與2019年8月相比減少33.8%。今年首八個月,載貨量較去年同期下跌8.7%,運力下跌21.8%,而貨物及郵件收入噸千米數則下跌10.9%。
國泰顧客及商務總裁林紹波表示,疫情持續為集團的業務運作帶來極大的挑戰。然而,8月的客運業務略見輕微改善。整體而言,客運運力較7月增加了81%,但亦只是營運了2019年8月疫情前13%的運力。月內乘客運載率為46.4%,是自去年3月以來的新高。
他指,8月的客運表現較過去數月有所改善,營運了疫情前13%的運力。集團較早前曾預期於今年第四季最多可營運至疫情前約30%的運力。然而,因各地的旅遊限制仍然生效,持續限制了我們增加航班的能力。因此,集團現時預期直至今年年底,只會維持與今年8月相約的客運運力水平。此外,會繼續維持審慎的現金管理,於今年年底前每月現金消耗目標為少於10億元。
