美疾控中心調研:麻省74%確診新冠病人事前已完成接種疫苗
美國疾控中心公佈數據顯示,美國東北部麻省約四分三確診新冠病人事前已完成接種新冠疫苗,當中4人最終入院。數據亦顯示已接種疫苗人士感染後所帶的病毒量,與沒有接種者相若,且能向他人傳播。
當局檢視麻省多項公衆活動後出現的感染羣組,共計469宗個案,約74%病人已完成接種mRNA或強生一劑過疫苗,當中274名已接種疫苗病人出現病徵,主要爲咳嗽、頭痛、喉嚨痛、肌肉痛及發燒。5名入院病人中,4名爲已接種疫苗人士,但沒有死亡個案。
美國疾控中心總監Rochelle Walensky指,有關數據促使當局更新戴口罩建議,確保已接種疫苗人士不會在不知情下傳播病毒。當局文件指新冠變種Delta的傳染性與水痘相若,且傳播窗口較原來新冠病毒更長,並可能使已接種疫苗長者病況更嚴重。
