據報Netflix計劃擴展電子遊戲領域
《彭博》報道,Netflix(NFLX.US)正計劃擴展到電子遊戲領域,並聘請了前Electronic Arts(EA.US)和Facebook(FB.US)高層領導該業務,標誌公司在電視及電影以外的第一個重大舉措。
Netflix週三(14日)表示,Facebook前副總裁Mike Verdu將加入公司,擔任負責遊戲開發的副總裁,並向首席運營官Greg Peters彙報工作。
知情人士透露,公司希望在未來一年內於Netflix串流媒體平臺上提供視頻遊戲,而公司目前不打算對新內容收取額外費用。
