貝萊德總裁促政府就氣候變化提更穩固融資計劃 釋放私人資金參與
《路透社》報道,全球最大資產管理公司貝萊德(BlackRock)行政總裁Larry Fink,要求政府就氣候變化定出更穩固的長期融資計劃,以釋放私人資金爲過度到低碳經濟融資,否則在目前努力下,包括企業可持續性披露,亦只會淪爲粉飾櫥窗。他亦提出改革國際貨幣基金組織及世界銀行,以作更多事情鼓勵私營機構爲新興市場轉型作更多融資協助,以更好地應對氣候變化。他又認爲,非上市公司亦須與上市公司一樣,接受相同等級的可持續性披露壓力。
另外,八間全球大型保險企業成立聯盟,協助加快經濟轉向零碳排放。各公司與反壟斷機構合作,每五年設定中期目標,並每年報告進展。公司亦將爲碳排放最多的企業設定承保條款,並提供低碳方案。參與保險企業包括安聯、安盛、忠意保險、英傑華、慕尼黑再保險、瑞士再保險、蘇黎世保險及法國SCOR再保險。
