美洲極端高溫或引發糧食危機

美加西岸極端天氣
上個週末以來，美國與加拿大的西北海岸，正遭遇歷史性的嚴酷熱浪罩頂。天空熱浪形成了一個高氣壓罩頂的「高溫穹頂」（Heat Dome），美加西北大地如烤爐一般，美國西雅圖與波特蘭就分別以41.7°C與46.1°C，刷新了城市高溫歷史。
加拿大西岸，溫哥華東北河谷小鎮萊頓（Lytton），28日下午更測得了47.5°C的致命高溫。連專家都沒想到的是，加拿大西部今天的溫度，竟然比中東沙漠中的杜拜還要熱？
美國國家氣象局警告稱，“持續的、危險的、歷史性的熱浪”最早可能於6月29日在北美地區出現，直到本週中或下週初，北美地區纔會從真正從熱浪中得到稍許解脫。
大宗商品爆升後，近期因爲國家級出手打壓，價格有所回落。極端的天氣對農作物來說是致命的，對農產品等大宗品又是一種新挑戰。
巴西乾旱危機
美加熱浪影響糧食生產外，另一個糧食生產大國巴西，也面臨了乾旱危機。巴西6至9月發佈緊急乾旱警報，是91年來最嚴重的。
與此同時，巴西也是疫情風暴中心，重創當地經濟，讓許多巴西民衆陷入三餐不繼的困境。巴西在巴拉那河流域進入缺水狀態後，與巴西礦物和能源部有關的電力部門監督委員會已確認，中南部將長期遭遇乾旱，跨及5個州的地區今年夏天降雨量預計會相當稀少。
此外，與農業部有關的氣象預測機構已針對受中部與南部地區發佈6至9月旱災緊急警報。
巴西大部分地區缺乏雨水對糧食種植、牲畜和發電產生嚴重影響，且巴西電力相當仰賴水壩。面對這種環境，糧食價格會再次上升。
全球糧食危機再起？
全球應對糧食危機網絡發佈報告指，在受糧食危機困擾的國家中，面臨突發性糧食不安全狀況的人數在2020年達到過去五年的最高水平，共有至少1.55億人。這些人的生命和生計岌岌可危，急需救援和幫助。
《2021年全球糧食危機報告》發出嚴重警告，指衝突、極端天氣，以及新冠疫情對經濟的衝擊持續使數百萬人陷入突發性糧食不安全狀況。
好明顯的看到，疫情影響了人們工作，種植的計劃也可能打亂。而美加等地極端天氣，巴西糧食出產大國也受乾旱危機，在供需失衡下，會嚴重打亂農產品市場價格。
美聯儲印鈔機火上澆油
近年，疫情關係美聯儲資產負債一路飆升，截至4月，美國M2貨幣供應達到20.26萬億美元。超發貨幣也推升農產品價格，同時推升美國的通脹。
王米價格上升驚人，短短兩個月由500美元升至700美元之上。美國小麥期貨從473美元漲到665美元，漲幅40%。而瘦豬肉漲超70%，牛肉也漲近20%。

以現時科技，大大提高農產品的產量，有在完善的農產品交易體﹐足夠養活全球70億人的。但是貧富不均的情況下，很多人吃不飽。我們看見世界有無數的饑荒和流民，逃亡至發達國家中去。

後疫情時代，物價飆升，通脹來臨，不單是影響大家的生活水平，還有很多角落中藏許多飢民，我們應當減少浪費食物。全球性通脹真的來了，如何保護你的資產?
