美银总裁指客户今年消费开支较2019年升两成
美银(BAC.US)行政总裁莫伊尼汉(Brian Moynihan)接受《CNBC》访问时表示,今年以来客户的信用卡或记帐卡支付,与及透过Zelle支付总额较2019年升20%。他指民众取得大量政府派钱并正在消费,失业率正下降,民众返回工作,亦到乐园游玩、在美国境内旅游及外出用膳。
莫伊利汉指,美国政府在疫情期间向民众派钱及失业救济增加,推升客户帐户存款,平均余额有1,000至2,000美元的帐户较疫前增加6至7倍。
