港鐵(00066.HK)將處理車費「短貴長平」情況 將送出10萬單程車票
港鐵(00066.HK)行政總裁金澤培於立法會上表示,制訂票價時除了車程距離亦會考慮方便性的問題,因此出現「短貴長平」的情況,當中涉及歷史因素,港鐵日後將透過日後票價調整處理有關問題。他又指,為慶祝屯馬線於6月27日全面通車,將額外送出10萬張單程車票。
運輸及房屋局副秘書長黃珮玟於會上指,有聽到意見指政府可少收港鐵租金,從而令港鐵降低車費,她指相關做法等同以公帑補貼港鐵,認為直接幫助支付較貴交通費的市民以減輕交通開支較為合適。
