运房局:无意对巴士票价调整安排作重大改变
新巴城巴指,若疫情影响持续及各项节流措施未能减轻财政压力,或再需要考虑申请加价。有报道指公司计划向政府提改革票价调整机制,例如采用类似港铁(00066.HK)的可加可减机制。
运房局称,无意对票价调整安排作出重大改变,认为现行安排基本可在巴士服务的有效运作、市民负担能力及接受程度之间取得平衡,会不时检讨票价调整安排,确保继续运作良好,并会适时谘询各持份者。
另外,城巴机场和北大屿山巴士网络及新巴专营权,将於2023年届满。运房局指已收到城巴及新巴分别表示有意申请新的专营权,会适时处理。(ek/u)
