中國電信(00728.HK)：紐約證交所維持美國存託證券的下市決定
格隆匯 5 月 7日丨中國電信(00728.HK)發佈公吿，為了保護公司及其股東的權益，2021年1月20日(美國東部標準時間)，公司向紐約證交所提出書面要求，要求該委員會複議該決定。2021年5月6日(美國東部標準時間)，該委員會維持了該決定。根據紐約證交所上市公司手冊第804.00條，公司預計紐約證交所將向美國證交會提交25表格以撤銷公司美國存托股份的上市及註冊，並將向公司提供該25表格的一份副本。根據紐約證交所上市公司手冊第804.00條，於向美國證交會提交25表格之前，紐約證交所將通過發佈新聞稿及於其官方網站以發佈公吿的通知方式宣佈撤銷美國存托股份的上市的最終決定。該通知將於紐約證交所官方網站保留至下市生效。根據《美國1934年證券交易法》(經修正)項下第12d2-2條規定，公司美國存托股份的下市將於向美國證交會提交25表格10日後生效。
截至2021年5月6日，公司已發行美國存托股份約114萬份，佔公司已發行股份總數約0.14%。紐約梅隆銀行為公司的美國存托股份代理機構。受限於公司、紐約梅隆銀行以及美國存托股份不時的持有人和實益擁有人之間訂立的存託協議的條款，美國存托股份持有人可以將其美國存托股份交還給紐約梅隆銀行以換取公司的H股，每份美國存托股份可換取公司的100股H股。公司的H股在港交所進行交易。鑑於紐約證交所已於2021年1月11日上午4:00(美國東部標準時間)暫停美國存托股份的買賣，以及公司美國存托股份即將下市，美國存托股份持有人可就將彼等持有的美國存托股份轉換成公司H股向專業顧問或紐約梅隆銀行諮詢。
