新威斯頓(08242.HK)公布,以350萬元出售直接全資附屬Excellence Steps,料出售事項錄1,410萬元虧損。該附屬公司實益擁有的馬來西亞物業,即六個服務式公寓單位,總建築面積為1.2萬平方呎,位於名為MM Residency的發展項目中2B座,其位於Jalan Melawati 1的東北面鄰近Jalan G 1,Melawati,
Kuala Lumpur交界處。
公司指,鑑於出售集團的過往財務狀況自收購以來一直錄得虧損;該等物業的完成日期不確定;及營運資金為應付集團營運開支的財務需要,董事認為,出售事項為集團提供良好機會實現對出售集團的投資,並將資源專注於發展於內地的現有物業管理業務,以及降低集團的財務承擔,減輕集團對持續經營錄得虧損出售公司的負擔,有望於完成後改善集團的整體流動資金狀況和盈利能力。
