《美股业绩》花旗首季多赚两倍 退出中国内地及澳洲等13个市场零售银行业务
花旗(C.US)公布,今年首季盈利增长2.13倍至79.42亿美元,受惠於整体经济反弹及投资银行业务急增。不过收入下降7%至193亿美元,拨备前利润比去年同期下降18%。
新任行政总裁Jane Fraser表示,将退出13个市场的零售银行业务作为业务重组的计划一部分,当中包括中国内地、澳洲及印度,因集团在这些国家没有足够的规模进行竞争。
花旗的零售银行业务将继续在新加坡、香港、伦敦及阿联酋开设的财富中心运作,而其余商业银行及私人银行在内的机构客户业务将不受影响。
