芒格旗下公司投资阿里巴巴(09988.HK) 称需要以现金等价物形式持有股票
「股神」巴菲特搭档芒格担任董事长的电商和软件公司Daily Journal Corp於今年首季建仓阿里巴巴(09988.HK)(BABA.US),早前文件披露持有逾16.53万股,占公司3月底投资组合比例达19%。
金融杂志《巴伦周刊》(Barron's)本周刊登Daily Journal的声明,其中指公司拥有且需要以现金等价物形式持有的股票,此等现金等价物通常是美国国债,不过由於目前美债投资回报率很低,公司转而投资普通股。
声明提到,除非股票的长期前景看起来不俗,否则不会被视为良好的现金等价物。Daily Journal指,公司将早前投资於国债的少量资金转至投资阿里巴巴,在第一季尾的头寸总值为3,740万美元。
