李小加:對政府上調印花稅感驚訝 相信港股市場仍有吸引力
本地傳媒報道,前港交所(00388.HK)行政總裁李小加於網上論壇上表示,對政府上調股票印花稅感到驚訝。他指在任內一直與業界合作尋找方法,希望在降低股票印花稅的同時不會造成港府稅損失,例如研究向交投量達某一水平的投資者提供回扣,藉提升交投量來彌補稅率下調的影響。
他相信,加稅後量化交易受到的影響最大,希望日後經濟復甦時當局能再次檢討稅率,又強調本港的股票交易成本仍然相對便宜,不認為增加印花稅會令港股市場變得不再吸引。
