市傳內地政府要求阿里巴巴(09988.HK)剝離媒體資產
《華爾街日報》引述消息人士報道,中國政府要求阿里巴巴(09988.HK)(BABA.US)剝離部媒體資產,當中包括英文報紙《南華早報》。
據悉,中國監管機構已審查阿里巴巴的所有的媒體資產,並對阿里巴巴所持有的媒體範圍之廣感震驚,憂慮會被阿里利用為控制輿論的工具,故已要求阿里大幅縮減媒體資產持股。
阿里巴巴未有直面回應報道,僅稱公司只是媒體資產的被動財務投資者,投資這些項目是為自身業務升級提供技術支持,並為核心電商業務產生協同效應,公司並不干預或參與媒體的日常運作或編輯決策。
阿里巴巴旗下媒體資產涵蓋印刷媒體、影視平台、電子媒體、社交媒體和廣告業務,包括微博(WB.US)、在本港上市的阿里影業(00241.HK)及《南華早報》等。
