加拿大皇家银行料通胀升温快於预期 央行被逼提早明年加息
《路透》报道,加拿大皇家银行行政总裁Dave McKay表示,新冠疫苗快速接种,将推动经济复苏及通胀升温快於预期,同时为逼使央行最快明年加息。他又指加拿大及美国经济增长快於预期,通胀压力将更早地建立,对货币政策构成挑战,央行应在明年下半年,而非2023年年底至2024年才对此有所回应。
McKay亦指,加拿大皇家银行预期当地经济今年增长5%至6%,或可能加快至高单位数。
