高盛料美失业率年底降至4.1%或更低
高盛经济师Joseph Briggs发表报告,预期美国失业率将於今年底降至4.1%或以下,视乎美国经济复苏情况,2022年有机会回落至疫前的3.5%水平。主要因为高盛预期在经济重启、财政刺激及储蓄累积下,将推动非常强劲的需求增长,从而引发大量招聘。此外,目前因新冠疫情损失的职位,三分二属易受病毒感染的行业,该等行业的就业应在经济全面重启下反弹。
美国上月失业率为6.2%,较去年4月高位14.8%大幅回落,但总就业人数仍较一年前减少约850万。
