亚马逊遭员工控告歧视黑人
亚马逊(AMZN.US)旗下云服务AWS业务发展主管Charlotte Newman控告公司歧视黑人,称公司雇用黑人出任较低的职位,而晋升的速度亦较白人慢,而且她亦遭受男上司的骚扰。
亚马逊表示,正在就投诉作出调查,强调公司致力建立公平的文化,不会容忍任何的歧视。
Newman是哈佛大学商学院的毕业生,曾是美国参议员Cory Booker的前顾问。她指控,亚马逊在2017年只安排她出任初级职位,但以她的资历明显是超出职位所需,在两年半後公司才让她晋升至高级经理,变相令她失去两年半的股票奖励收益。
