华兴证券:上调印花税对本港市场影响不大
财政司司长陈茂波发表最新一份财政预算案,上调股票交易印花税税率自0.1%提高至0.13%。华兴证券(香港)表示,印花税上调後,买卖双方合计将缴纳0.26%的印花税,相比A股按照成交金额的0.1%单向徵收印花税,以及其他主要市场的税率,港股市场印花税上调的幅度并不算太高,认为考虑到交易成本和价格弹性,对个人投资者的交易意愿或有一定影响,但对机构客户影响相对有限。
该行指,印花税税率并不是金融中心竞争力的主要因素,上调印花税亦可使港股市场资金面更多元及更具韧性,惟本港资本市场相关改革步伐略慢於预期,这一趋势加上地缘政治风险及不确定性,更应引起投资者注意。
