渣打劉健恆料未來數月本港失業率仍會維持高位
渣打大中華區高級經濟師劉健恆表示,香港最新公布去年11月1至今年1月份的失業率升至7%,較市場一般預期為差,反映雖然中國經濟正在改善,全球多地陸續展開疫苗接種計劃,但是本地第四波疫情及隨之收緊的社交限制措施對本地經濟帶來嚴重衝擊。渣打估計本港失業率在未來數月仍會維持高位,甚至進一步上升,直至下半年經濟情況才見好轉。
他指,本港整體市場就業不足率在期內上升0.4個百分點至3.8%,消費及旅遊相關行業的就業不足率更上升0.9個百分點至6.6%的紀錄高位,顯示本港勞動市場在短期內仍備受壓力。儘管政府由今天起開始放寬部分社交限制措施,該行相信本港消費情況不會立即出現大幅改善,市民憂慮就業和經濟前景而變得審慎理財,勞動市場將繼續疲弱。
