内地去年新生婴儿登记减少14.8%至1,004万人 人口老化压力加剧
据《彭博》报道,国家公安部数据显示内地去年新生婴儿登记按年减少14.8%至1,004万人,显示出生率持续下滑及人口老化压力加剧。该数据通常低於实际数字,因部分家长未立即为子女登记。2019年有1,179万婴儿登记,但有1,465万婴儿出生。国家统计局将在4月公布官方生育数据。
由於以前「一孩政策」影响,中国人口老化速度较其他已发展经济体为快。中国多年来致力推动出生率,包括2013年放宽「一孩政策」及在2016年容许每家庭养两个小孩。
该报道指,北京有意在今年开始的「十四五」进一步放宽生育限制。内地2019年年化出生率跌至最少1949年以来最低。中国社会科学院副院长蔡昉去年底在《北京日报》撰文指,人口老化及大量老年人,将会是未来一段较长时间中国面对的重要情况。
