內地去年新生嬰兒登記減少14.8%至1,004萬人 人口老化壓力加劇
據《彭博》報道,國家公安部數據顯示內地去年新生嬰兒登記按年減少14.8%至1,004萬人,顯示出生率持續下滑及人口老化壓力加劇。該數據通常低於實際數字,因部分家長未立即為子女登記。2019年有1,179萬嬰兒登記,但有1,465萬嬰兒出生。國家統計局將在4月公布官方生育數據。
由於以前「一孩政策」影響,中國人口老化速度較其他已發展經濟體為快。中國多年來致力推動出生率,包括2013年放寬「一孩政策」及在2016年容許每家庭養兩個小孩。
該報道指,北京有意在今年開始的「十四五」進一步放寬生育限制。內地2019年年化出生率跌至最少1949年以來最低。中國社會科學院副院長蔡昉去年底在《北京日報》撰文指,人口老化及大量老年人,將會是未來一段較長時間中國面對的重要情況。
