金管局延長銀行業人才起動計劃
金管局公布,考慮到疫情持續影響本港經濟及勞工市場,將延長「銀行業人才起動計劃」至今年應屆畢業生,由2021年9月開始提供為期六個月的工作機會及專業培訓。在現行計劃下,參與機構可按業務需要,延長聘用已受聘的畢業生,為期不多於六個月。
在業界的支持下,2021年計劃的規模將會增大,帶來更多職位,參加資格亦將由本地大學畢業生擴大至包括非本地大學的畢業生,這些安排將令更多有志投身香港銀行業的年輕人受惠。
金管局總裁余偉文表示,很高興這項計劃獲得銀行業全力支持和畢業生踴躍參與。勞工市場在疫情持續下仍然充滿挑戰,延長計劃將為年輕人提供寶貴機會,累積更多工作經驗及金融知識,更好裝備自己,為日後經濟復甦時在銀行業拓展事業打好根基,有助銀行業擴大年輕人才儲備,進一步提升香港作為國際金融中心的競爭力。
