李小加:新股通有助人民币国际流通
近期北水涌港,港交所(00388.HK)前行政总裁李小加出席论坛後表示,相信是因港股估值仍落後A股,至於是否能维持则不作评论。
他於论坛上表示,中港互联互通应进一步拓展至「新股通」,并以人民币柜台的形式,让内地投资者以人民币认购国际巨企的股份,国际巨企亦可将集资所得的人民币换成中国国债,让人民币变相出境。他举例指中国是沙特阿拉伯石油的最大消费国,若沙地阿美来港以人民币柜台上市,将旧股卖予中国投资者,日後当油价上升时,虽然对中国石油消费者不利,但中国投资者将会因而获利,形成自然对冲,而沙特阿美通过「新股通」集得人民币後,可将人民币换成中国国债,让外资成为中国债主。
