据报证监会及金管局等机构致电金融界高层要求解释撤离香港原因
英国《金融时报》报道,由於香港实施国安法可能导致不少专才离开香港,香港证监会、金管局、金发局及财库局已致电银行及资产管理公司的高层,要求这些已迁往新加坡及东京等的高层解释离开香港的理由、决策过程及时机。
证监会表示,持牌法团或个人有关居住地点的变更可能会触发调查,以了解他们是否仍需要牌照。金管局则称,会定期关注行业从业员及市场的发展情况。而旅发局则回应指,没有就金融机构的调迁行动进行调查。
消息人士指,港府今次行动是并不寻常,若不是疫情爆发,预计离开香港的金融业专才会更多。
