高盛为拓展网上零售银行寻找并购机会
《路透社》引述消息人士报道,高盛(GS.US)为扩大网上零售银行Marcus,正考虑进行收购。
消息人士称,在疫情爆发下高盛管理层更加相信网上业务将是行业未来增长的核心,而分行的作用将逐步减弱,故倾向收购能吸引新客户或有独特网上业务技术的公司。
高盛将於周二公布第四季业绩,预计零售银行贷款增长速度将低於预期。消息人士称,高盛可能会发出警告,称5年内将零售银行贷款及信用卡签帐额增加至逾200亿美元的目标,可能会因经济持续放缓而需要更长时间来实现。
不过消息人士称,由於市场情况将会改善,预计仍将维持实现1,250亿美元的存款目标。
