中國聯通(00762.HK)：紐約證交所宣佈重新啟動美國存託證券下市程序
格隆匯 1 月 7日丨中國聯通(00762.HK)公佈，於2021年1月6日(美國東部標準時間)，公司收到紐約證交所的進一步通知，紐約證交所再次推翻其先前的決定，亦即紐約證交所監管部門已經決定重新啟動美國存託證券之下市程序，以遵守該行政命令。該最新決定乃基於美國財政部外國資產控制辦公室(‘’OFAC')向紐約證交所提供的以下新的具體指引而作出：根據該行政命令第1(a)(i)條，自2021年1月11日上午9:30(美國東部標準時間)開始，美國人士不得進行該行政命令中所規定的若干交易，包括對美國存託證券的交易。公司特此提請投資者注意該項新的OFAC指引，其中就行政命令對公司普通股和美國存託證券的適用性作了進一步解釋，投資者可考慮就此尋求專業意見。該項新的OFAC指引可於https://home.treasury.gov/policy-issues/financial-sanctions/faqs/864 查閲。
紐約證交所獲吿知全國證券結算公司將就直至2021年1月8日(美國東部標準時間)執行的美國存託證券交易進行結算，因此紐約證交所將於2021年1月11日上午4:00(美國東部標準時間)暫停美國存託證券的買賣。紐約證交所將向美國證券交易委員會提出申請，於完成包括對紐約證交所監管部門職員的決定提出之任何上訴(如有)在內的所有適用程序後，將美國存託證券下市。
自2000年上市以來，公司一直嚴格遵守各項法律法規、市場規則及上市地的監管要求，依法合規運營。公司對紐約證交所多次推翻其自身決定的情況感到失望，這損害了公司及其股東的利益。
